The Whirlwind Agency was formed by musician and president, Jeff Shew, who has over 30 years experience as a songwriter, producer, booking agent, promoter, band manager, venue manager, security/door person, radio dj, studio musician, publicist, club dj, wedding coordinator, ethnomusicologist (2007 BA graduate, Indiana University) and just about every aspect of music and event planning one can imagine.
The Whirlwind Agnecy has a team of industry professionals ready to provide our clients with the best service possible. Though this is a business first and foremost, it's also a passion project. Money is not the only motivator for getting up in the morning. We strive to grow music communities, while forming friendships and personal connections with everyone we meet.
We hit the ground running, hence the whirlwind name. With realistic expectations, it takes a long time to grow and build a musical act, and we know that from experience.
